The Environmental Justice in Transportation Toolkit
The EJT Toolkit is a planning guide/toolkit to support interactions between transportation agencies and members of impacted communities. We are concerned with the following transportation issues:
- Access to Quality Transit Service
- Pedestrian Safety
- Air Pollution and Congestion
The Toolkit consists of an accessability calculator, a travel diary, a collection of proximity analysis maps and a community communication assessment tool.
Building on our initial success in the Baltimore region, we hope to encourage others to adopt best practices through peer exchane and academic publication.
