  1. the video is well produced and edited. the analysis is somewhat deficient in that the question is never raised about the role of the predominantly african american elected power structure (mayor, city council etc) is demanding improvements from the sate and improving the conditions in baltimore at large. the video also fails to note that economic leverage is a prevailing factor in motivating black politicians to work for the people-it is absent here. there is no recognition of transit’s role in moving 250,000 people a day, most are minorities going to subsistence jobs, since they do not have cars.
